The problem

What this solves

Local search is winner-takes-most. Three businesses appear in the map pack and everyone else fights over the scraps below it. If your Google Business Profile categories are wrong, your NAP details disagree across directories, or you have one generic "areas we serve" page instead of real local pages, you are invisible exactly where purchase intent is highest.

You are probably here because

  • You rank at your own address and nowhere else in the city
  • Your Google Business Profile strength indicator is not green
  • Reviews arrive in bursts rather than steadily
  • Your business details disagree across directories
  • You have one generic page covering every area you serve

What's included

Everything this service covers

Scope is fixed and written down before we start, so there is no argument later about what was and was not included.

Google Business Profile rebuild

Categories researched against the profiles actually ranking for your queries, then every service listed individually beneath each one. Services, products, attributes, service areas, hours and description completed in full.

Citation and NAP cleanup

Name, address and phone corrected at source across the directories Google cross-checks, rather than masked behind a subscription that leaves the underlying conflict in place.

Genuine location pages

A distinct page per location or service area with real content — not one template with the town name substituted, which is a doorway page and gets filtered accordingly.

LocalBusiness structured data

Schema with an address that matches your profile exactly, plus accurate service-area markup. Conflicting data is worse than no data.

Review acquisition system

A request built into your post-service process so reviews arrive steadily. Velocity and recency matter more than a single large number, and steady arrival is what the map pack rewards.

Profile activity cadence

Posts and photos on a schedule your team can actually keep. Freshness is one of the clearest signals genuinely under your control.

Geo-grid rank tracking

Performance mapped across your service area rather than reported as a single position, so you can see which directions you vanish in.

Multi-location architecture

Where you have several branches, the page structure and internal linking that makes them reinforce each other instead of competing.

Process

How the engagement runs

  1. 01

    Local visibility baseline

Geo-grid rank tracking to see exactly where you appear and where you vanish across your service area.

  2. 02

    Profile and citation fixes

The profile is rebuilt against the categories your ranking competitors use, and conflicting citations are corrected at source.

  3. 03

    Local page build

Genuinely distinct pages per location or service area — real content, real proof, not spun templates that trigger doorway-page filters.

  4. 04

    Reviews and momentum

A repeatable review request flow, because review velocity and recency are among the strongest map pack signals you control.

Outcomes

What success looks like

  • Map pack presence across your full service radius, not just at your pin
  • More calls and direction requests tracked directly in your profile insights
  • Consistent business data everywhere Google cross-checks it

Honest fit

Is this the right service for you?

I would rather tell you no now than take a retainer for work that was never going to help.

This is a good fit if

  • You serve customers from a physical location or defined area
  • You are outside the map pack for your primary service
  • You can commit to asking customers for reviews
  • You have more than one location or service area to cover

This is the wrong service if

  • You have no verifiable physical presence
  • You sell nationally with no local component
  • You want keywords stuffed into your business name — that risks suspension
  • You are unwilling to ask customers for reviews

Definitions

The terms on this page, explained

Plain definitions of the concepts this service works with — so you can evaluate the work rather than take the vocabulary on trust.

Map pack
The three local business listings Google shows above the organic results. Position four is invisible by comparison, which is why local search is close to winner-takes-most.
Google Business Profile
The listing that controls your presence in Maps and the map pack. Formerly Google My Business.
NAP consistency
Your Name, Address and Phone matching exactly everywhere Google can find them. "Suite 4" against "Ste. 4" is enough to create ambiguity in a system trying to verify you.
Primary category
The single most influential field on your profile. It determines which queries you are eligible to appear for at all, and getting it wrong caps everything else.
Review velocity
The rate at which reviews arrive. Forty reviews gathered steadily over a year consistently outperform two hundred that arrived in one month, because the second pattern looks purchased.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

I rank at my office but not a few kilometres away. Can that be fixed?

Yes, and it is the most common local problem I am hired for. Proximity is a strong signal but it is not the only one. Category accuracy, service-area pages, review volume and local link relevance all extend how far your visibility reaches from the pin.

Do I need a physical address to rank locally?

You need a verifiable presence. Service-area businesses can rank without displaying a public address, but the profile must be verified and the service areas configured correctly. Fake addresses get profiles suspended, so I do not use them.

How many reviews do I actually need?

Enough to be competitive with the three businesses currently in the pack, and arriving steadily. A profile with 40 reviews gathered consistently over a year typically outperforms one with 200 that all arrived in a single month.

Can you handle multiple locations?

Yes. Multi-location work adds location page architecture, per-branch profile management and internal linking between them so the locations reinforce rather than compete with each other.
